Welcome to the Copleston Centre

Welcome to the Copleston Centre

Welcome to the Copleston Centre, a space for everyone in heart of Peckham. Every week, more than 500 people join us for activities from pilates to community singing. This multi-cultural, multi-purpose community centre grew around Copleston Church, a joint Church of England and United Reform Church with a thriving congregation.

Built during the rapid development of south London in Victorian times, Copleston is tucked away down a side street. It’s worth making the effort to find us and try something new – you might become a regular! All our groups are run by local residents, and some have been going over 35 years.

Alongside the church, people of all faiths and none join in activities from baking classes to drumming workshops. We also have a community space, available to hire at affordable rates for events and activities.

A New and Exciting Role at the Copleston Centre.

In memory of Jerry Burden 8.11.1962 - 25.12.2018

The Trustees and all at Copleston Centre have been so saddened at the news of Jerry's death. It is such a testament to his commitment and care for the local community that he has asked for Copleston to be one of the charities he would like to be supported in his memory. In his time as a Trustee he was a huge influence in helping us shape a vision for the future. He had much more to give, and our hearts go out to Sarah and all the family.

If you would like to make a donation to Copleston in memory of Jerry, please use the fundraising page set up for this purpose on BTmyDonate
