Older People's Programme

The Copleston Centre has a long and proud tradition of work with older people.

We provide a range of culturally diverse activities and events which enable older people to: volunteer;  socialise and build relationships; develop new skills; share talents and improve physical and mental well-being.

We regularly consult with the people who use our services and our programme is designed to respond to and cater for our diverse community and their wide range of interests . All sessions take place in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where you can meet new people, see old friends, share and learn new skills and suggest ideas for the programme.

Over the past three years, thanks to funding from the City Bridge Trust, Southwark Charities, London Community Foundation, United St Saviour's Charity, Southwark Council and others, our programme has developed and enabled us to increase our reach and range of activities and build new relationships with individuals, organisations and funders.

We always welcome adults of other age groups when there is space on our older people's programme, to help create an inclusive multi-generational community. Contact ann@coplestoncentre.org.uk or on 020 77323435 for more information
